i trace the language of line
my work begins in the body, where movement becomes mark

work with me

My work approaches movement as the structure beneath drawing itself—body, breath, and mark as one continuous field of attention. I treat the body as a living archive where memory and sensation shape the visible trace. Through this lens, both my studio and teaching practices explore drawing as a durational process—relational, embodied, and unfolding.

for over three decades, i’ve developed a body of work that blends fine art with movement practice.

Working in painting, fiber, video, design, sound, and text—drawing remains central as inscription: time carried through mark, presence made visible.

With over 15 years of international experience, I’ve taught, exhibited, and participated in residencies across the U.S., Europe, Asia, and Mexico. I hold an MFA in Painting and certifications in Guided Drawing™, Somatic Movement, Meditation, and Yoga. My background includes intensive study in drawing, Butoh, and body-based practices across multiple traditions and geographies.

This practice is part of my ongoing inquiry into attention, transformation, and drawing through the body—an inquiry shaped by a simple, persistent question: What if painters studied movement with the same rigor they give to form?
