i am an artist tracing the language of line

i approach the body as a living archive, where memory and sensation intersect with gesture. through this lens, both my studio and teaching practices attend to drawing as a durational process—relational, embodied, and unfolding.

for over three decades, i’ve developed a body of work that blends fine art with movement practice.

working in painting, fiber, video, design, sound and text—drawing remains central as inscription—time carried through mark, presence made visible.

with over 15 years of international experience, i’ve taught, exhibited, and participated in residencies across the u.s., europe, asia, and mexico. i hold an mfa in painting and certifications in guided drawing™, somatic movement, meditation, and yoga. my background includes intensive study in drawing, butoh, and body-based practices across multiple traditions and geographies.

this practice is part of my ongoing inquiry into attention, transformation, and drawing through the body.

“you are perhaps the strongest draftsman to have ever come through my program.”
